View GalleryArthur Thill was an internationally renowned sports photographer from Luxembourg who immortalized many outstanding moments in sports history through his work. As owner of ATP Photo Agency based in Munich, he offered his clients an archive of original slides dating back to the 1970s.
ATP Photo Agency is known for its outstanding work at various sporting events, particularly in motorcycle racing. In 1995, Arthur Thill was awarded the World Press Photo Award in the Sports category. His award-winning photograph from the Formula 1 season remains a timeless masterpiece of sports photography to this day.
Through his work, he repeatedly demonstrated his eye for the perfect moment and his ability to create unique images that evoke emotions and passions.

Arthur Thill passed away unexpectedly on April 20, 2024, at the age of 74. His son, Jean Pierre Thill, has taken over the ATP Agency to continue his father's legacy and ensure the continuity of this prestigious photo agency.
